General Bradley A. Livingston

Brigadier General Bradley A. Livingston is the Assistant Adjutant General – Air, Montana National Guard, Fort Harrison, Montana and also serves as Commander of the Montana Air National Guard.  He is responsible for the leadership, professional development, and senior-level management of the 120th Fighter Wing, the 219th RED HORSE Squadron, and the Montana Air National Guard personnel assigned to Joint Force Headquarters, Montana. General Livingston ensures the nearly 1,100 personnel assigned to his three units maintain required qualifications to support any federal or contingency tasking and is directly involved in their taskings resulting from an ever-growing global commitment.  General Livingston is the Senior Air National Guard Officer in Montana responsible for ensuring all members of the Montana Air National Guard remain prepared to support the Adjutant General, the Governor, and ultimately, the citizens of Montana, during state emergencies. The spectrum of state missions ranges from incident response, to Defense Support to Civilian Agencies, to consequence management.  He assumed his current position in July 2009.

 

General Livingston's military career began in 1973 and he was commissioned in 1979 through the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management (magna cum laude) from the University of Great Falls in 1990.
