Montana DES is the lead in agency coordinating comprehensive emergency management in Montana.

Goals of the Division:

• Ensure that a Comprehensive Emergency Management program exists in Montana to save lives and property.
• Reduce human suffering and enhance the recovery of communities after disaster strikes.
• Provide quality service in all our activities.
